Dr. Sarah Wilson grew up in Troy, MI. She met her husband, from Trenton, at University of Detroit Mercy, and they lived in Woodhaven for 5 years while she attended Wayne State University School of Medicine. She and her husband moved to Rochester Hills where she completed her Family Medicine residency at Troy Beaumont. After graduating she stayed on as a faculty physician, treating patients and teaching resident physicians for 10 years. She has since been practicing at a private, concierge practice in Troy, MI. In August of 2021, she and her family moved to Grosse Ile. In search of a practice closer to home, she is excited to join Main Street Physicians!
Dr. Wilson practices with a passion for addressing all aspects of health and wellness, incorporating Lifestyle Medicine to help patients achieve their health goals. She strives to learn each individual patient’s treatment preferences. She treats chronic health conditions as well as urgent care needs, and focuses on prevention during wellness visits. She is board certified by the American Academy of Family Physicians and is a member of the American Academy and Michigan Academy of Family Physicians. She is open to work with patients who prefer integrative and holistic therapies. She enjoys performing procedures in the office, helping patients manage mental health struggles, and decreasing medication/supplement burden.
Dr. Wilson enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, fitness, cooking/baking, watching sports, attending country concerts, and playing golf (even if her son beats her). She looks forward to starting at Main Street January 6th!
