Christopher R. DeAngelis, D.O.,F.A.C.O.I.

Dr. Christopher DeAngelis was born in Trenton, Michigan. He received his bachelor’s degree from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, completed premedical studies at the University of Michigan-Dearborn, and attended four years of medical school at Midwestern University, Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine in Downers Grove, Illinois. He then completed a three-year internship and residency in internal medicine at Henry Ford Riverside Osteopathic Hospital.
Dr. DeAngelis is board certified in internal medicine and a fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Internists. He stays current and maintains his board certification through ongoing continuing medical education, medical conferences, and reviewing the medical literature.
Dr. DeAngelis returned to his hometown to raise his family and start his practice where he’s practiced at the same location since 2000. He is an active member of his community, church, and the hospitals where he’s on staff. He served on the boards of Oakwood Southshore Hospital, Oakwood Hospital System, and now serves as the current Chief of Staff for Corewell Hospital Trenton.
The doctor’s passions include spending time with his family, cooking, boating and staying fit. He ran a 26.2 mile marathon and continues to enjoy running and cross training as part of his daily routine. He hopes to inspire his patients by setting a good example for wellness and fitness.
